1-Booklet instructions:
Be carefully read the manual of the meat slicer. Your particular model may be different so make sure to follow the instructions booklet that came with your unit. Check out the cleaning instruction before you start cleaning.
2-Unplug meat slicer:
Be sure the machine is off and unplug. Then set the thickness of the blade to zero. This will help you in removing meat slicer blades, protects the blade's edge and the operator's finger.
3-Protective gloves:
Now wear up protective gloves. Protective gloves can save your hands from sharp blade cuts.
4-Disassemble meat slicer:
Disassemble the meat slicer and take big parts of the machine like gauge plate, food try, slice deflector, and central plate. Shut down the gauge plate. Make sure that the gauge plate is in the fully closed position and the sharpening stone is out of the way. Now take out the food try and central plate for washing.
